Religious Orientation, Spirituality, and Life Satisfaction: A Gendered Perspective

In recent times, religiosity and spirituality have received much attention towards mental health, but very few investigations worked on their role on life satisfaction within the gender perspective. The present study, however, investigates the relationships between religiosity, spirituality, and life satisfaction among individuals residing in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pakistan, with special reference to gender. For this purpose, a sample of 150 adults (71 men and 79 women) were selected by convenient sampling technique and was evaluated using validated versions of three scales: Religious Orientation Scale (ROS), Spirituality Scale (SS), and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SLS). Results indicate that religiosity and spirituality have a significant positive correlation with life satisfaction. Results of linear regression showed that religiosity and spirituality significantly predict life satisfaction. Women reported more religious orientation and spirituality as compared to men in the sample studied. The study is useful for both men and women, highlighting the importance of one's orientation towards religion.

Determinants of Customer Loyalty in the Banking Sector of Pakistan

The aim of the current study is to inspect the intervention of customer satisfaction in the association between service quality and corporate image to customer loyalty in the Pakistan banking sector. The population of this research is banking customers and a sample size of 210 respondents. This study uses the SPSS, Correlation, ANOVA and regression analysis techniques along with AMOS methods. The results of the study show that service quality and corporate image of the banks are not associated with customer loyalty, but this association is possible due to customer loyalty. This study shows that banks must focus on customer satisfaction to engage customer loyalty. CL is only achieved through customer satisfaction. The Pakistani banking sector, therefore, improves customer satisfaction, so the association between service quality, corporate image and customer loyalty must be enhanced.

Impact of Workplace Bullying and Knowledge Hiding Behaviour on Emotional Exhaustion among Pakistani Nurses: A Cross-sectional Study for Exploring Psychological Empowerment as an Effective Role Player in the Healthcare System

This study aims to extend the literature on workplace bullying and its impact on knowledge hiding directly and through the mediation of emotional exhaustion and psychological empowerment as a moderator after collecting data from 600 nursing staff working in public and private hospitals in Pakistan. The results revealed the negative impact of workplace bullying (WB) on knowledge sharing directly and partially with the mediation of emotional exhaustion (EE). However, the impact is reduced through the moderating effect of psychological empowerment (PE). The finding of our study has several implications for healthcare institutions or academic leaders and policymakers of organizations.

Investigate the Effectiveness and Student Satisfaction of Online Learning Platforms in Comparison to Traditional Classroom Settings

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness and student satisfaction of online learning platforms in comparison to traditional classroom settings. A sample of 500 university students was surveyed to gather data on their experiences and perceptions of both learning modes. The study employed a quantitative data collection method. The questionnaires utilized Likert-scale items to measure satisfaction levels and effectiveness ratings. The statistics showed how online learning platforms compare to traditional classrooms in effectiveness and student satisfaction. Students were largely satisfied with both learning styles, with online learning platforms somewhat higher in satisfaction. The study also found that online learning platform accessibility, schedule flexibility, and multimedia resources affect student happiness. Regarding effectiveness, both online learning platforms and traditional classroom settings were perceived as effective by the majority of students. The findings can inform educational institutions and policymakers in their decision-making processes and help improve the design and implementation of online learning platforms.

Smiles and Struggles: Investigating the Effects of Leader Emotional Labour Strategies on Job Satisfaction and Emotional Exhaustion in the Service Industry

The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of leader emotional labour strategies on job-related outcomes, job satisfaction (JS) and emotional exhaustion (EE) and the moderating effect of perceived organizational support (POS) under the theoretical support of conservation of resource (COS) theory. The current study was carried out by gathering data from doctors working in the Public Health sector of Pakistan. A self-administered questionnaire survey was employed to gather responses. The selection process employed a simple random sampling technique. Results of the current study explicate that POS has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between leaders' emotional labour strategies and EE. At the same time, the moderated effect of POS on the relationship between leaders' emotional labour strategies and JS was not supported. The present study bridges the research gap by applying the COS theory and using POS as moderating variable to study relationships between leaders' emotional labour strategies and job-related outcomes (e.g., JS and EE).

Exploring the Mediating Role of Fear of Intimacy in the Interplay of Partner Rejection and Marital Satisfaction among Married Women

The study investigated the association between intimate partner rejection and marital satisfaction in a sample of 250 married women (M = 32.38, SD = 3.73; age range: 25-45). This research made use of the Intimate Adult Relationship Questionnaire (IARQ), the Couple Satisfaction Index (CSI), and the Fear of Intimacy Scale (FIS). A correlation between couple rejection, fear of intimacy, and marital satisfaction was hypothesized. Findings suggested a significant positive association between partner rejection and fear of intimacy and a significant negative correlation between partner rejection and marital satisfaction. The mediating effect of fear in intimate relationships, or the correlation between partner rejection and marital pleasure, has been shown via structural equation modelling (SEM). Findings emphasized the link between marital satisfaction, intimacy, and the partner’s rejection. The research points to the need for counsellors to address intimacy fears and strengthen relationships via the use of individualized strategies and focused communication treatments.

Assessment of the End Users' Perceptions About the Campus Management System: A Case Study of Kohat University of Science & Technology

Information management systems are in vogue for data gathering, storage, and reporting to make effective decision-making and management. The study was designed to investigate end users' satisfaction with different dimensions of the KCMS (Kohat University of Science and Technology Campus Management System) and their intent to use it. The theoretical basis came from DeLone–information Mclean's system model (2003). The researcher obtained data through questionnaires online and personally visiting departments. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 20. Regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between quality attributes and end-user happiness. All variables were compared using Pearson correlation. End-user satisfaction is highly correlated with quality dimensions (system, information, and service). ANOVA was used to compare user’s perceptions with quality dimensions where teachers and students were found highly satisfied with all the dimensions except administrative staff. Information systems also have a moderating effect on self-efficacy and usage intention.
