Emotional Intelligence and Academic Achievement of Intermediate Level Students: A Correlational Study

    The study looked at the connection between intermediate-level students' academic performance and emotional intelligence. Three hundred and fifty (350) intermediate-level students from public institutions of District Attock participated in the study. Surveys were used to gather information to assess emotional intelligence. Academic success was measured in terms of the percentage of students who had finished their first year of college. In order to arrange and statistically evaluate the acquired data, the Mean, SD, and Pearson's correlation were computed. The research revealed a strong connection in academic success and the emotional intelligence (EI) of college students.

Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Academia: A Case Study of Critical Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

    This study scrutinizes the role of AI literacy and ChatGPT-3 in enhancing critical reasoning and journalistic writing competencies among 50 third-term journalism students at Tajik National University. Given the escalating relevance of AI across sectors, including journalism, we aim to highlight the potential advantages of incorporating AI utilities in journalism pedagogy. We utilized a mixed- methods approach, comprising both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques, for a comprehensive examination of the influence of AI literacy and ChatGPT-3 on student skill development.We gathered insights via surveys and interviews, revealing the impact of AI on learning outcomes. Our findings suggest a significant improvement in students' critical thinking and journalistic writing skills
    with ChatGPT-3 usage. The integration of AI tools in the classroom encourages in-depth analysis and collaboration, thereby enhancing students' writing skills. The results underline the importance of AI literacy in journalism education, preparing students for the rapidly transforming, AI-centric journalism industry.

Exploring the World of Artificial Intelligence: The Perception of the University Students about ChatGPT for Academic Purpose

    The study aims to explore the impact of ChatGPT on the writing skills of undergraduate students. This is a qualitative study in which 24 randomly selected students from two private sector universities in Karachi were interviewed and analyzed. The sample size was small but diversified, which was comprised of male and female BS (final year) students from humanities and sciences backgrounds.The data was classified into four categories to show different levels of responses from positive to negative. The result showed a mixed trend in which the majority of students were of the opinion that ChatGPT hinders creative writing, whereas the other group, was of the opinion that it is beneficial if used but under proper supervision / controlled conditions. The responses seem quite reasonable because ChatGPT is still in its infancy stage and may take some time to fully understand its technical aspects. However, more in-depth studies are required for its effective application in different academic areas.

Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Academic Stress of Undergraduate Students

    The present study was an attempt to understand how emotions are related to academic stress. Emotions are an integral part of a human’s life. The nature of this study was correlational. Students from Education department at the undergraduate university level were selected as a population from both public and private sector universities in Lahore, Pakistan. Questionaries were used to collect data. To explore the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic stress multiple regression analysis was applied. For comparison between two groups like gender independent sample t-test was used and for comparison between more than two groups like different age groups, one-way ANOVA was applied. The results revealed that students with higher EI suffer less academic stress than others as they are more cognizant of their emotions.

Ethics and Privacy in Irish Higher Education: A Comprehensive Study of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools Implementation at University of Limerick

    This research paper presents an insightful investigation into the perceptions and ethical considerations of students regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academia, particularly focusing on the University of Limerick in Ireland. Herein, AI tools like OpenAI's ChatGPT have emerged as valuable assets in promoting interactive learning and enhancing student engagement. Thus, this research aimed to explore the privacy and ethical considerations students have regarding the use of AI tools in education. Using a quantitative methodological approach, the study solicited the attitudes, opinions, and patterns of students towards AI utilities. The study revealed intriguing perspectives on data privacy concerns associated with AI tools. Students from technology and science-focused schools displayed a higher degree of concern, suggesting their deeper understanding of potential privacy implications. Conversely, students from arts, humanities, and social sciences, and law politics & public administration displayed slightly lower levels of concern.

The Rise of Artificial Intelligence and Its Influence on Employee Performance and Work

    The objective of this paper is to investigate the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on employee performance and work commitment within the workplace, while also acknowledging its limitations. The study employs a qualitative research approach and utilizes a simple random sampling method. Data collection is conducted through online questionnaires using Google Forms. The majority of the respondents (91.8%) fall within the age range of 20-30 years, with a total of 100 participants consisting of 58% females and 42% males. The findings reveal that AI can positively influence employee performance and work engagement. AI refers to the use of computers to simulate intelligent behavior with minimal human intervention. However, there are concerns raised by academics regarding potential job losses and an increase in unemployment rates due to AI. Consequently, this may pose challenges in terms of infrastructure reconstruction, ensuring vehicle safety, and adapting laws and regulations.

An Extensive Examination of Artificial Intelligence's Effect on Unmanned Vehicles

    Unmanned vehicles are simplest one of the many regions in which artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to end up a game-changing technological development. Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms are being incorporated into unmanned cars, along with self-riding automobiles and drones, to enhance their vision, navigation, and decision-making talents. The in-depth analysis of AI's results on autonomy, safety, performance, and societal ramifications is supplied in this paper on unmanned vehicles. The Correlation of Emotional Intelligence with Students Academic Resilience in University of Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of emotional intelligence with academic resilience. A sample of 400 students were taken from 10 different departments of the university of Malakand. These 10 departments were further accumulated into 3 faculties i.e. 1. Faculty of Physical Sciences, 2. Faculty of Social Sciences, 3. Faculty of Arts and Humanities.  Among these, 4 of the departments were taken from physical sciences, 3 from social sciences and 3 from arts and humanities. The data was collected through simple random sampling technique. The first instrument was an emotional intelligence scale which was self-report consisting of 45 items of Likert scale, second instrument was academic resilience scale of 27 items, self-report, Likert scale was used. Data was analyzed through SPSS by applying descriptive statistics and correlation between variable i.e. emotional intelligence and academic resilience. The study found positive correlation between emotional intelligence and academic resilience.

AI-Powered Decomposition Techniques for Economic Forecasting

    Time series analysis and decomposition are crucial in examining economic data as they uncover elements such as trends, and seasonal influences, within the data. However, some approaches have difficulty in accommodating complex, high-dimensional data. In this research, we investigate the possibilities of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) tools, specifically, machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) for better timeliness and accuracy of economic forecasting. In some instances, it was shown how recent AI models can improve the data analysis of economic indicators (GDP, inflation, stock indices) through the accurate depiction of non-linear trends and changing seasonals. Model enhancements using AI also result in significant improvement in the accuracy of economic forecasts and provide more detailed and useful time series decomposition for economists and policymakers. This paper is a step towards more extensive use of artificial intelligence in econometric analysis and provides evidence on the feasibility of such in practical econometric studies.

Exploring the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Teachers' Competencies: A Comprehensive Review

    This study was conducted to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing the teachers' competencies. This was a theoretical study in nature conducted while using the secondary data collected from the available books, journals, and dissertations. The results revealed that AI has great potential to enhance teachers' competencies while helping them design relevant educational content aligned with learning objectives and providing feedback on their instructional strategies and practices. It also allowed to automate the student attendance and grading on the teacher's side. It will also assist the teachers in selecting suitable strategies and teaching aids for aiding a wide variety of students including those with special needs. Yet, it is also important to underscore that AI ought to act in support of  and not replace with machine algorithms infallible virtues inherent to human education: sympathy; a creative spark; and the ability to individually adapt for each student.
