Can we boost the Meta-cognitive Awareness of Prospective Teachers through Reflective Journals?
Metacognition and reflective teaching are concepts that complement each other if we refer to a reflective teacher. This study investigates whether metacognitive awareness of prospective teachers can be improved through reflective journals. In present study reflective journals are comprised of practice sheets through which the prospective teachers can practice their metacognitive thoughts consciously. The methodology followed is experimental research by using qusai-experimental design into two phases. Both, control and experimental groups were taught through a combination of teaching strategies that we normally use in our classes such as lecture, discussion, or through inquiry, etc., in phase 1. In phase 2, reflective journals, along with other strategies that were used in the 1st phase, were introduced. The results of data analysis revealed a significant enhancement of prospective teachers metacognitive awareness and its constituent factors e.g., metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation.

Reflection of Teacher Educator's Professionalism on Prospective Teachers
Reflection of teacher’s own professionalism matters so the present study aimed to evaluate the reflection of teacher educator’s professionalism on their students. The survey was conducted to collect data by using two self-developed questionnaires one for teacher educators and others for prospective teachers. A sample of 155 teacher educators and 200 prospective teachers participated in this study randomly selected from one general university of Islamabad and seven universities of Punjab province. Analyses revealed that prospective teachers were highly reflecting professional attitude, professional practice and professional confidence while less professional commitment, professional ethics, and professional knowledge and competence. Teacher educators showed high level of professional commitment, professional leadership and supportive culture whereas less professional practice, professional ethics and professional knowledge and competence. Nevertheless, the prospective teachers were not properly acquiring teacher educator’s professionalism. Findings may be used in teacher education programs to enhance professionalism through organization of continuous professional development practices

Identifying the Role of Teachers in Developing Entrepreneurial Intention of Prospective Teachers
This research study identified the main areas related to entrepreneurship teacher education. The main objectives of the study were: (a) to identify the importance of entrepreneurship education for teacher education in Pakistan; (b) to identify the areas to prepare pre-service teachers for entrepreneurship education. The nature of study was descriptive while mixed method approach was used to gather information. Twelve teacher educators and eighty five prospective teachers were selected by using convenience sampling technique. ENVIVO-11 and SPSS were used to analyze qualitative and quantitative data. It was revealed that mostly interviewees agreed on entrepreneurial education should be made a part of national professional standards of teachers. Majority of the trainee teachers appreciated entrepreneurship education. Most of the respondents intervene about imparting and improving entrepreneurial education for prospective teachers’ course. Interviewees are appreciating this step of entrepreneurial intentions in prospective teachers’ course.

Attitude of Prospective Teachers towards Research: A Survey Study of Different IER Programs
One of the essential variables in deciding our success in life is our attitude. The main purpose of the study was to investigate the attitude of male and female prospective teachers of different programs of Institution of Education and Research towards research. This study was quantitative and survey type in nature. The sample consisted of two hundred and forty students. A questionnaire "Attitude towards research" based on the Likert scale was administered for data collection. For data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics applied. It was observed that most prospective teachers agreed that research makes them uneasy, and they feel insecure. It is also revealed that prospective teachers agreed that they enjoyed research. A new way of teaching research methodology may be adopted, which would increase the motivational level and lessen the negative attitude of the prospective teachers towards research.

The Influence of Parent-Teacher Meetings on Early Childhood Students' Academic Performance: Prospective Teachers' Perceptions
Parent-teacher meetings (PTM) play an integral role in a child's education. The importance of PTM is even more critical for Early childhood Education (ECE). ECE is not a novice concept in Pakistan; however, parents have only realized now that learning during early childhood goes beyond the walls of the classrooms and can only realize its full potential if parents are actively participating in their children's education. Therefore, PTM is the time when parents and teachers can collaborate to work for the education of the children. The current study explores the prospective teachers' perceptions of PTMs and their influence on ECE students' performance. The data were gathered from seven participants through an open-ended, semi-structured interview guide. The analysis concluded that prospective teachers had a good understanding of PTMs processes and generally had a positive attitude toward them. Prospective teachers also believed that PTMs positively influence students' academic performance.

The Effects of Motivational Level of Prospective Teachers on their Academic Achievement and Self-esteem at the University Level
Students and teachers can use different ways to learn when their motivation is high, moderate, or low. The main objective of this descriptive study was to find out how high levels of motivation affect the performance of the prospective teacher. A survey method was used to gather data. Prospective teachers of the University of Punjab Lahore were included in the sample population .sample size was 560 prospective teachers. We used a questionnaire to find out about different ways to get people interested in learning. SPSS was used to look at the data. The results showed that a high level of motivation among future teachers was positively and significantly linked to all academic achievements and self-esteem, while a moderate level of motivation was also positively and significantly linked to other academic achievements. The results of this study may also persuade policymakers to take into account new motivational factors when hiring new teachers.

Prospective Teachers' Perceptions and Experiences with Grading Rubrics: A Survey Study
Grading rubrics are valuable tools in education that clarify expectations, facilitate transparent grading, improve self-regulation, and increase learning outcomes. This paper explores the use and impact of grading rubrics from the perspective of prospective teachers, reviewing literature, research, and a survey. The survey was done with 400 prospective teachers from 4 universities in Lahore, and each of them filled out a questionnaire about their thoughts and experiences with rubrics.The findings of this survey are included in the paper as well. This work contributes to the existing body of research on the use of rubrics in education by giving a detailed and critical evaluation of the research that has already been conducted, as well as by presenting fresh empirical data from the viewpoint of prospective teachers, thus intending to stimulate more research and practice on grading rubrics in the field of education.
