Analysis of MPhil/PhD Supervisor's Relationship Development and Communication Competence
The purpose of this research was to analyse the relationship development and communication competence of MPhil/PhD supervisors. A confirmatory mixed-methods research design was used to conduct the study in two stages. For both phases, 360 MPhil/PhD graduates and 72 supervisors were selected from four public universities in Punjab using a multistage sampling technique. Data were collected electronically from 239 MPhil/PhD graduates during phase-I using an adapted questionnaire from ASHA's supervision model, while in phase-II, 72 MPhil/PhD supervisors were interviewed to cross-check the Phase-I findings. According to MPhil/PhD graduates, their supervisors have relationship development and communication competence. During interviews, most MPhil/PhD supervisors refute their supervisees' claims and offer suggestions to improve supervisors' competence. Based on supervisor suggestions, the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan should revise the supervision structure, provide Postdoctoral fellowships to all supervisors, and promote international conferences. This study may be helpful to supervisors in self-evaluation as well as understanding relationship development and communication competence.

Role of Mass Media and Interpersonal Communication in Polio Eradication Campaign
Health communication characterizes the boundary between communication and health and is progressively documented as essential for everyday well-being. Mass media, especially electronic media, is the need of the time, especially during the outbreaks like Polio in Pakistan. People get information from mass media, up-grade their knowledge, and their attitudes are formed, and ultimate change in practices becomes forth. By keeping in view the widely witnessed role of mass median healthcare communication, this article also examines Pakistan regarding Polio eradication. We executed a descriptive quantitative method and gathered data from n= 300 respondents. Results revealed that Mass Media and Interpersonal communication have a significant role in delivering the proper knowledge about the Polio disease. Through Mass Media and Interpersonal Communication, the masses may know the harmful consequences of Polio disease and the influential role of the vaccine inuring this disease. Thus, we concluded that media help eradicate misconceptions about the vaccine, resulting in the complete wipe out of Polio from Pakistan. Further, we have discussed the results and highlighted the recommendations accordingly.

Using Students Ratings to Compare Teacher Effectiveness in English and Mathematics
The study aimed to compare teacher effectiveness in English and Mathematics by using students' ratings on quality factors such as learning environment, instructional planning and strategies, subject matter knowledge, assessment, and effective communication. Through using a multistage sampling technique, the data was obtained from the students of 10th grade (N=2009), who evaluated their teachers' performance on STEQ developed by Akram (2018). The five factors of STEQ exhibited a high level of reliability (α=.88) with factor-wise reliability ranging from 0.74 to 0.86. T-test for independent samples was used to compare boys' and girls', and urban and rural students' perceptions of teacher effectiveness in English and Mathematics. Female teachers were perceived as more effective than male teachers by their students in Mathematics and English, while urban teachers were perceived as more effective as compared to rural teachers by their students in Mathematics and English. Student achievement in English and Mathematics also statistically significantly differed based on the gender of students and school location. The study also gave recommendations.

A Tale of Two Languages in Blogging: Code-Switching Analysis in Pakistani Blogosphere
Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) have brought about a new medium for information sharing and communication and weblogs are becoming more and more popular in the virtual sphere. The process of code- switching can be traced in this fast evolving medium of communication. This paper aims at investigating the existence of code-switching patterns by examining the categories and frequency of Urdu code-switches in Pakistani English weblogs authored by Pakistani bloggers. The quantitative and qualitative approaches were used in this study. The blog entries of 10 Pakistani bloggers were analyzed by using the descriptive research paradigm. The findings illustrated that the linguistic choices of Pakistani bloggers as bilingual internet users are living in between two worlds, two cultures, and two languages which they employ in this mode of communication to fully express themselves. The findings showed the linguistic features that are particular to the context of CMC. The study concluded that the presence of code-switching in CMC have to be considered and treated as a unique and different entity from spoken form or written form of code-switching to capture its fundamental attributes.

Science Journalism in Pakistani Print Media: A Content Analysis of Daily Dawn and The News International
Science journalism is a special form of journalism that primarily covers topics such as science, engineering, technology etc. This study has been conducted to find out the coverage of Science Journalism in Pakistani English Print Media. The researcher applied both Qualitative and Quantitative content analysis methods for the collection of the data. Through this method the researcher collected data from the Pakistani English newspaper; Daily Dawn and The Daily News International. The researcher collected data from five pages including pages 1, 2, 3 4 and 12. The researcher collected data from three days including Monday, Wednesday and Friday through a systematic sampling procedure from 6 months of Newspapers (N=72+72=144). It is found that both newspapers covered science journalism whereas; a total of 211 news stories were published in 6 months from January 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022. Daily The News published 46.9% while 53.1% were published by Daily Dawn. The results revealed that The Daily Dawn has given more coverage as compared to The News International in the last six months of 2022 science journalism.

The Impact of Visionary Leadership on Employee Commitment: Principal Leadership Perspective
The aim of the study is to examine the impacts of Principal Leadership on the performance of teachers. The basic objectives of the study were (a) to find the key dimensions of Principal visionary leadership that contribute to employee commitment in educational settings. (b) To explore the role of communication strategies by principals in enhancing employee commitment through visionary leadership. and (c) How do school principals perceive the impact of visionary leadership on employee commitment within their schools? Information was gathered through questionnaires using a Sample random sampling technique. Only 120 questionnaires were received and using different statistical methods, including mean, percentage, Pearson's correlation, and Regression. Research findings indicate that effective communication strategies employed by principals significantly enhance employee commitment through visionary leadership and also found that there is a significant impact of Principal Leadership on employee commitment.

EFL Students' Perceptions on the use of Blackboard Technology in English Language Learning
Blackboard is an Internet teaching management platform that allows a virtual learning environment via the Internet. It is the most popular system used by universities and educational institutions worldwide. However, this study is more concerned with foreign language (EFL) students' perceptions of the use of Blackboard in their courses. For this reason, we focused on 100 EFL students as respondents to the online questionnaire who attended the Language Department-College of Science and Humanities at Rumaah-Majmmah University in this research. Whereas, findings from both the survey data were analyzed by using (the SPSS Program) with the Lickert scale method showed participants had positive perceptions of the use of Blackboard technology for educational purposes. The results of students' perceptions proved the usefulness of Blackboard technology in the field of education. Hence, the suggestions of this study could be shared with other educational institutions in the kingdom.

Linguistic Accommodation in English-Medium Instruction: Investigating Adjustments by Non-Native English Speakers
This study explores how non-native English-speaking students and teachers accommodate each other linguistically in EMI classrooms. The research explores the features of these strategies, including language simplification, visual aids, code-switching, and non-verbal cues, in terms of their frequency and types to identify how they impact communication/learning.Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from 200 students and 50 teachers. The study found that both students and teachers used simplification in language and visual aids to show what was being discussed.These are also well-documented, underscoring their importance in multilingual classrooms.The Pearson correlation analysis in Table 2 suggests significant positive correlations between the use of simplification and non-verbal cues language proficiency scores, which reveals that more proficient learners can employ these strategies better.This article highlights the importance of linguistic accommodation in EMI. It offers suggestions for targeted intervention programs as well as professional development to improve successful educational outcomes through English medium instruction.
