Stylistic Analysis of the poem “Wedding in the Flood" by Taufiq Rafat in the Perspective of Figurative Language
The poem is arrhythmic and conveys the scenario of a wedding held in the period in which flood usually comes, concentrating on tiny pictorial details as witnessed by the sight of the folks became my selection for the stylistic analysis for several reasons. The aim of this paper is to analyze Taufiq Rafat's poem "Wedding in the Flood" from the viewpoint of stylistic analysis. This analysis is helpful in understanding the basic concept of poetry and complexity through figures of speech. Not only is there complexity in the verses, but also, their confines are stylistic by concentrating on the figurative devices employed in the poem by the poet.
